  Good hotel in an average surrounding

  Had a good stay in the hotel, greeted with warm cookies. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The moment you step out, it’s like in a industrial area. Too many building activity, garage for kebab caravans, just puts you off. 5 mins walk to Madison Sq Garden, 8 mins to Bus terminus. Lots of eating options around.

  Enjoyed our stay

  First time staying at this hotel. We are Honors members and the complimentary waters were not in our room but they brought them up immediately to us. This is the largest hotel in New York with lots of history, worth googling. In our opinion, it\'s the best place to stay. Walking distance to everything you could want to see or a short cab ride away. We loved our room, very large and modern. The only thing missing is a coffee maker. All the employees were wonderful and helpful. I have two tiny suggestions: 1 please ask maids to wipe down the bathroom door. Really dirty and should take two seconds. 2 the tissue box holder has a hole too small for the tissues and ripped them to shreds every time. I had to take the box out to use the tissues. Small things..I\'m picky lol..we highly recommend this property and will definitely stay here again.

  Perfect location

  Couldn\'t have been more spoilt from the warm cookies on arrival and any time you went to reception,spotless rooms,ideal for branching out from the bus station opposite to the subway at the top of the street..big shout out to Marcus front of house and Nathan the friendliest bag man ever.....would book again in a heartbeat....manhattan gem
